Winding down for Autumn and Winter
Summer is now coming to an end and we are entering Autumn, on the whole we’ve had a pretty good summer (we’ll forget August happened) .
Now is the time of year to starting thinking of an Autumn detox, just like the Spring detox, except this time we are setting ourselves up for Winter. Our metabolism naturally starts to wind down as the days get shorter. If you think you suffer with S.A.D. (Seasonal Affective Disorder), now is the time to get that lightbox out and start using it. Research shows this is best done first thing in the morning for 30mins with a 10,000 lux lightbox. There are also supplements and herbal remedies which can help support you during this time.
Detoxing our bodies is great, we also need to detox our lives as well. Do positive things, make positive changes, be round positive people!

Now that everyone is back from their holidays & the kids are back at school, its time for us to start up with our workshops and healthy living evenings again!

We are very excited about these workshops and talks. Our positive menopause 2 evening introductory was a great success and so we will be developing this further.
Drop-in & pain clinic
Our resident Medical Herbalists, Tim Moorhouse & Ben
Osbourn, have teamed up with Wendy Baker, Clinical Hypnotherapist, to launch our new Drop-in & Pain clinic here at The Kings Rooms. This will run every Thursday morning between 10am – 1pm.
